Weather in India is reported in Celsius (°C), but most home thermometers show body temperature in Fahrenheit (°F). Science uses Kelvin (K). This converter switches between all three and shows the working.
How to use the temperature converter
- Enter the temperature.
- Choose its unit: Celsius, Fahrenheit or Kelvin.
You get the other two units at once.
Formulas
°F = °C × 9 ÷ 5 + 32
°C = (°F − 32) × 5 ÷ 9
K = °C + 273.15
Example
37 °C × 9 ÷ 5 + 32 = 98.6 °F, which is normal body temperature. In Kelvin it is 310.15 K.
